Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you on behalf of the families who occupy flats No. 401-820 above your department store to make a complaint.
We have our own private entrance on the south side of the building and used to have free entry. Since last week, however, there has been a lorry parked in front of the entrance throughout the day every day. The lorry is frequently parked so close to the door that we have to edge our way in and out, not without difficulty. As for our bikes and perambulators, they cannot be wheeled in and out of the house at all most of the time.
When we saw the driver, we complained to him, but he simply shrugged his shoulders and said it was not his business, which is true. As the lorry belongs to your store, it is surely your responsibility to see that it is parked in an appropriate place and that your employees do not cause us (who are also your customers) undue inconvenience.
It is hoped that measures be taken to ensure that the lorry is parked elsewhere as soon as possible.
